Overall this is a quality item. Thick and lined, it's warm and water proof. However, the sleeves don't make any sense. If you snap them, you're unable to lift or spread your arms. If you do, the entire front rides all the way up your chest and leaves your front bare. Or, the snaps unsnap. I checked, and it appears this is due to the snaps not being placed in accordance with the shoulder seams. They're placed forward of the seam, so they don't lay correctly when snapped. I will probably redo this myself, so they're usable. It's pretty frustrating because otherwise this is a great piece. Also, the snaps on the front in the face area were not placed correctly and so don't lay flat. There are gaps between the snaps where the material has bunched. It's not a big deal, but it does seem that whoever did the snaps on this did a really poor job. For reference I'm 5'3, so there's no reason an XL should be too small for my stature. I can only imagine how poorly this would fit someone taller.
